Who Edusius was
One of the two municipal notaries who knew where the lectors of the church lived, and said so. When the bishop and the subdeacons refused to identify them, the clergy themselves pointed at Edusius and Junius — the town’s own record-keepers already held what the church would not give up.
Named once, in the Gesta apud Zenophilum — the Cirta records of 19 May 303 and 13 December 320; no other ancient source names him.
