Who Sacerdos was

Presbyter of the British church, who travelled to Arles in 314 with the deacon Arminius and the three British bishops. He is one of only five named Christians in Roman Britain before the fifth century, and one of only two who were not bishops. Frend read him and Arminius as attached to Adelfius, which would make Adelfius’ the senior British see — the archive records that as inference, not as fact.
