Who Aquilinus of Scillium was
One of the twelve confessors of Scillium, named in the sentence of beheading pronounced by the proconsul Saturninus. Like his companions he refused the thirty-day reprieve offered for reconsideration — “In a matter so just there is no need for delay,” Speratus had said on their behalf. Beheaded the same day.
