One of the bishops of the province of Arabia who subscribed the creed at Nicaea in 325. The Arabian delegation is small — a handful of sees along the desert frontier — and its subscriptions are the earliest firm evidence for an organised episcopate in the region. Distinct from Gennadius of Marseilles, the fifth-century literary historian.
