Who Lampadius was
One of the thirty-four bishops who signed the synodal letter the Council of Arles sent to Sylvester of Rome on 1 August 314 — the first council of the whole Western church, called by Constantine to settle the Donatist appeal. The letter names him; it does not give his see, and no other ancient source recovers it. Recorded here as ‘see unassigned in the acta’ rather than guessed at.
